3.3 Social Media Integrations

VUGO allows you to optionally connect your social media accounts to publish generated videos directly from the platform. When you connect an account, we store an OAuth access token and basic profile information (username/channel name) solely to perform the publish action on your behalf. We never read your social media feed, contacts, or private data beyond what is strictly required to upload your video.

Google / YouTube

When you connect a YouTube account, VUGO requests the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload scope to upload videos on your behalf. VUGO's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

  • We only use Google user data to upload videos you explicitly choose to publish through VUGO.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your Google user data with any third party.
  • We do not use Google user data to serve you advertisements.
  • We do not allow humans to read your Google user data unless you have given explicit permission, it is necessary for security purposes, or we are required by law to do so.
  • Your YouTube OAuth token is stored encrypted and used only to fulfill your upload requests.

You can revoke VUGO's access to your Google account at any time by visiting Google Account Permissions or by disconnecting within VUGO Settings.

TikTok

When you connect a TikTok account, VUGO requests video upload permissions via the TikTok Content Posting API. We store only the OAuth token needed to post videos you select. We do not access your TikTok feed, followers, messages, or any data beyond the upload capability. You can disconnect at any time from VUGO Settings or through TikTok's app settings.

Instagram

When you connect an Instagram account, VUGO requests the instagram_business_basic and instagram_business_content_publish scopes via the Instagram Platform API. We use these only to publish videos you explicitly select. We do not read your Instagram messages, followers, or private data. You can disconnect at any time from VUGO Settings.

These services have their own privacy policies and data handling practices. We recommend reviewing their policies for complete information about how they handle your data.
